Verisure Expands GuardVision Outdoor Detector to 12 Markets
Verisure is expanding its GuardVision Outdoor video detector to more countries, bringing the device to 12 of its 18 markets, the company said in a press release. Norway will receive it in November, while launches in Mexico, the Netherlands and the UK are planned for 2027.
GuardVision uses computer vision AI to distinguish people from other triggers. It includes HD video, infrared night vision, image capture and two way audio, and connects with Verisure's alarm system and monitoring centers for verification and intervention.
The device carries EN50131 Grade 2 certification. Verisure says data from some of its largest markets indicates that its outdoor security products can help prevent more than half of detected intrusion attempts.
