Valens, RGo Robotics, and CHERRY Partner for AI Robotic Systems
Valens Semiconductor, RGo Robotics, and CHERRY Embedded Solutions have announced a partnership to enhance the design and deployment of AI robotic systems. This collaboration, announced in a press release, combines RGo's advanced Perception Engine, Valens' VA7000 MIPI A-PHY connectivity chipsets, and CHERRY's Rockchip-based hardware module.
The integration of these technologies aims to deliver unprecedented design flexibility, cost-efficiency, and performance for mobile machine manufacturers. Valens' MIPI A-PHY solution addresses the short-range connectivity constraints of camera interfaces, allowing for the reliable extension of high-bandwidth video to centralized processing units over extended distances. This is particularly beneficial for applications such as autonomous mobile robots, edge perception for human-driven machines, and service robots.
The partnership will be showcased at Embedded World 2025 in Nuremberg, Germany, where a joint demonstration will be on display from March 11-13 at Hall 2, Booth #454.
