Twine Security Named 2025 Gartner Cool Vendor in Identity-First Security
San Francisco-based Twine Security has been named a Cool Vendor in the 2025 Gartner Cool Vendors in Identity-First Security report, announced in a press release.
The Gartner report recognizes vendors that offer innovative methods for identifying security risks, mitigating threats, and advancing identity-first approaches without disrupting existing identity and access management (IAM) systems. Twine develops AI Digital Employees that perform cybersecurity tasks autonomously, including its first AI Digital Employee named Alex, which specializes in IAM operations.
According to the company, Alex is designed to learn and execute IAM-related tasks to help organizations manage identity security more efficiently. Twine’s technology aims to assist hybrid teams consisting of human security professionals and AI Digital Employees in improving operational efficiency and reducing risk across identity infrastructures.
Twine has also received several recent industry recognitions, including being named a finalist in the 2025 RSAC Innovation Sandbox and BlackHat USA Startup Spotlight, and a Forbes Cloud100 Rising Star.
