Townsend Group Invests in CleanArc's Hyperscale Data Centers
CleanArc Data Centers has announced a strategic investment from Townsend Group, as stated in a press release. This investment aims to support CleanArc's growth initiatives, particularly the development of its first data center campus in Virginia, which is expected to deliver 300 MW of capacity by the first quarter of 2027.
The investment was led by Townsend, which advises a consortium of global investors, including major sovereign and pension plans. This partnership is expected to bolster CleanArc's efforts in developing renewable-focused hyperscale data centers. Snowhawk LP will continue as the majority stakeholder, maintaining its leadership role in CleanArc's expansion and infrastructure development.
James Trout, Founder and CEO of CleanArc, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting Townsend's expertise in capital markets and institutional knowledge as instrumental in executing CleanArc's mission. Anthony Frammartino, CEO and Chairman of Townsend, also expressed excitement about supporting CleanArc's continued development across Tier 1 markets.
