Torq Acquires Revrod, Enhances HyperSOC with AI Capabilities
Torq has acquired Revrod, a stealth Israeli AI startup, and integrated its multi-agent RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology into the new Torq HyperSOC-2o, announced in a press release. This latest version of Torq's flagship product aims to enhance cybersecurity operations by automating and managing critical SOC responses at machine speed.
The integration of Revrod's technology introduces a comprehensive OmniAgent within Torq HyperSOC-2o, capable of identifying, prioritizing, and remediating cybersecurity threats. This advancement allows security operations centers (SOCs) to reduce investigation time by up to 90% and manage significantly more alerts without increasing staff.
Torq HyperSOC-2o features several AI agents, including an Investigation Agent for deep search investigations, a Case Management Agent for real-time data access, a Runbook Agent for autonomous orchestration, and a Remediation Agent for customized remediation actions. These agents work together to provide near human-level analysis and precision in threat mitigation.
The acquisition of Revrod and the enhancements to Torq HyperSOC-2o position Torq as a leader in autonomous security operations, offering tools that enable enterprises to operate faster and more efficiently in the face of increasing cybersecurity threats.
