Tidal Cyber Appoints Damian Apone as Board Advisor
Tidal Cyber has appointed Damian Apone as its newest Board Advisor to advance the company’s Threat-Led Defense innovation, announced in a press release. Apone has more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity, technology, and governance, and currently serves as Global Director of Governance, Risk & Compliance at Genuine Parts Company.
Apone will provide strategic guidance as Tidal Cyber continues to expand adoption of its Threat-Led Defense platform, which maps adversary behaviors to defensive controls using ATT&CK-aligned intelligence. He emphasized that the company’s approach offers organizations better visibility into threats and helps identify overlapping security tools for more efficient decision-making.
Rick Gordon, CEO and Co-Founder of Tidal Cyber, said Apone’s expertise in governance and risk management will help enterprises translate threat intelligence into actionable outcomes. The company stated that his appointment supports efforts to deepen enterprise strategy and accelerate adoption across regulated industries.
