TIA Releases Draft DCE 9000 Data Center Quality Standard
The Telecommunications Industry Association released the first draft of DCE 9000, the group said in a press release. The proposed standard provides common, certifiable quality requirements for data center operators, suppliers and general contractors.
The draft was completed in nine months with input from 191 participants across 78 organizations. TIA is also developing measurement guidelines, certification requirements, auditor qualifications and training programs for the standard.
Participating organizations can submit comments through November 30, 2026. Proposed revisions will follow a formal change control process, with publication of the final DCE 9000 standard planned for the first quarter of 2027.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
