ThunderSoft, Geely, and NVIDIA Unveil AIBOX for AI in Vehicles

ThunderSoft and Geely, in collaboration with NVIDIA, have introduced AIBOX at IAA 2025, a solution for integrating large AI models into vehicles, enhancing in-car experiences.

ThunderSoft and Geely, in collaboration with NVIDIA, have unveiled the AIBOX at IAA Mobility 2025, a pioneering solution designed to integrate large AI models into mass-production vehicles. This innovation is built on NVIDIA's DRIVE AGX automotive computing platform and ThunderSoft's AquaDrive AIOS, providing real-time model inference for enhanced in-car experiences announced in a press release.

The AIBOX offers a full-stack AI compute solution that is plug-and-play and configurable, addressing the challenge of limited edge-side compute in vehicles. Key features include ThunderSoft's AquaDrive AIOS, which integrates compute allocation and model scheduling for rapid multi-modal responses, and an elastic compute architecture adaptable to various vehicle models. The robust hardware design supports both air- and liquid-cooling modes, ensuring stable operation across diverse environments.
