Tencent Cloud Wins Two Awards at NAB Show 2026 for AI Video Solutions

Tencent Cloud received two honors at the 2026 NAB Show Product of the Year Awards for its Video Quality Enhancement and Smart Erase technologies, announced in a press release. The awards recognized innovative products showcased at the event in Las Vegas on April 22.

The Video Quality Enhancement tool, powered by Tencent Cloud’s Diffusion Transformer (DiT) architecture, was named a winner in the Streaming category. The system improves visual fidelity for uses such as live streaming, e-commerce, gaming, and professional video production. It supports 4K super resolution, frame interpolation up to 120 frames per second, and color enhancement, while also addressing compression artifacts and latency issues.

Smart Erase, awarded in the Intelligent Technology category, provides automated video editing functions such as blurring, mosaicking, or removing logos, faces, and subtitles. The tool helps media and e-commerce platforms handle privacy protection and global content localization. It integrates with features like optical character recognition, translation, and AI dubbing to streamline multi-language video processing.

Both solutions are part of Tencent Cloud’s media services suite, which offers AI tools for content creation, processing, and distribution across industries including media, gaming, and entertainment.
