Tenant Inc. has opened its Nectar API, giving self-storage operators direct access to live operational data through AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, announced in a press release.

With this update, operators using the Hummingbird platform can connect their existing management data to AI tools to automate reporting, generate insights, and build new workflows. Tenant Inc. has published full documentation and opened a developer portal, allowing immediate integration without waiting for vendor implementation.

Nectar serves as the central open API for data exchange across Hummingbird, Mariposa, and over forty connected third-party vendors. The new capability allows developers and operators to build custom AI agents, such as automated end-of-day reports, revenue dashboards, or integrations with unsupported systems.

Tenant Inc. stated that the goal is to let operators directly use and extend their data within their own systems rather than relying on preset vendor roadmaps or interfaces.
