Telegram Adds AI Summaries Powered by Decentralized Cocoon Network
Telegram has introduced AI-powered summaries for channel posts and Instant View pages, according to a company announcement. The new feature lets users quickly generate condensed versions of lengthy posts and web articles within the app.
The summaries are powered by open-source models operating on Cocoon, a decentralized network designed to maximize privacy. Each request on Cocoon is encrypted, ensuring that user data remains protected. The network runs on The Open Network (TON) blockchain and allows GPU owners worldwide to contribute computing power in exchange for TON tokens.
Telegram serves as Cocoon’s first major customer, initially using the network for translation features before expanding to AI summaries. The feature is available on all platforms that support Telegram channels and Instant View pages.
The same update also brings full Liquid Glass interface support to iOS, with adjustable transparency and refraction effects through power-saving settings.
