Techman Robot Cobot Earns IEC 62443 Security Certification
Techman Robot says its TM AI Cobot S Series received IEC 62443-4-2 Security Level 2 certification following an independent assessment by DEKRA, as stated in an announcement. The company says it is the first manufacturer of collaborative robots with built in vision and AI to receive the certification.
IEC 62443-4-2 defines security requirements for components used in industrial automation and control systems. The certification provides manufacturers and system integrators with an independent assessment of the cobot series' security capabilities for connected manufacturing environments.
Techman Robot also maintains processes for vulnerability management, incident reporting and security updates across the product lifecycle. The company says it is aligning these processes with requirements under the European Union's Cyber Resilience Act.
