Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud have partnered to provide real-time player performance insights for the Global Chess League's Season 3, enhancing fan engagement and broadcasting capabilities.

Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud have partnered to enhance the fan experience for the Global Chess League (GCL) by providing real-time player performance insights during Season 3, scheduled for December 13–24 in India. Announced in a press release, this collaboration aims to integrate advanced technology with the strategic game of chess, offering fans unprecedented access to player analytics.

The GCL, a joint venture between Tech Mahindra and FIDE, is recognized as one of the most technologically advanced sporting leagues. It features a unique franchise-based format where men, women, and prodigies compete in mixed teams. With Google Cloud's infrastructure, Tech Mahindra will deliver AI and ML dashboards that provide real-time insights during matches, while Google Cloud Analytics will enhance the league's broadcasting capabilities.

Season 3 promises to be more immersive and interactive, with expanded broadcasts, multilingual commentary, and interactive fan zones. This initiative not only elevates the viewing experience but also positions the GCL as a convergence point for sports, technology, and business innovation.
