Tata Communications Named Leader in 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Global WAN Services
Tata Communications has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Global WAN Services, marking its thirteenth consecutive year in the position, announced in a press release.
The company said it has redefined its network architecture with advanced AI and analytics to deliver modular, high-speed, and on-demand connectivity for industries such as finance, manufacturing, retail, media, and IT services. Recent upgrades include the expansion of its Network-on-Demand portfolio with new options like IZO DC Dynamic Connectivity and Multi-Cloud-On-Demand services, allowing flexible network scaling.
Tata Communications also invested in next-generation singlemode fiber and high-capacity 800G wavelength services to meet the growing demands of AI cloud infrastructure. The company expanded its global presence through additional partner points of presence and collaborations with local offnet partners to improve last-mile connectivity.
In addition, the company enhanced its Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) capabilities to address AI-driven security risks and announced plans to introduce quantum-safe encryption services using post-quantum cryptography algorithms standardized by NIST.
