Survey Highlights Growing Adoption of AI in Video Security

Hikvision and asmag.com have conducted a survey revealing a significant increase in the adoption of large-scale AI models in video security. According to the survey, 75% of respondents are either currently using or planning to adopt AI-enabled devices for video security purposes. announced in a press release, the survey highlights the growing importance of AI in enhancing detection accuracy and reducing false alarms.

The survey found that 52.4% of participants consider the adoption of large-scale AI models as "very important" for future competitiveness in video security. Additionally, 73.4% of respondents cited improved operational efficiency as a key benefit of these AI models, followed by reduced human error and better end-user experience.
