Sunrise New Energy Co., Ltd. has rebranded to E-Power Inc. to align with its shift toward artificial intelligence data center microgrid solutions, effective February 12, 2026.

Sunrise New Energy Co., Ltd. has announced a name change to E-Power Inc., effective February 12, 2026, to better represent its move toward artificial intelligence data center microgrid solutions, according to a press release.

The rebranding includes a new corporate identity, logo, and brand name, while maintaining the company’s existing leadership structure. The change reflects the company’s transition from producing graphite anode materials for lithium-ion batteries to developing AI-focused energy and microgrid systems.

E-Power’s recent initiatives include developing grid-scale energy storage and residential power solutions, establishing U.S. production capacity through its subsidiary E-Power Grid Inc., and advancing research in solid-state and sodium-ion battery technologies. The company continues to operate its renewable-powered graphite anode production facility in Guizhou Province, China.
