Stryker Plans $400 Million CMR Surgical Investment
Stryker will invest approximately $400 million (£300 million) in CMR Surgical through a preferred equity transaction, the companies announced in a press release. The agreement gives Stryker an exclusive option to acquire all outstanding equity in CMR Surgical under specified terms.
Stryker will also become the exclusive U.S. sales agent for the Versius surgical robot portfolio. CMR Surgical will continue developing the portfolio and handling commercialization outside the United States.
CMR Surgical's second generation Versius robot has a modular architecture and supports a broad range of soft tissue procedures. Stryker said it selected CMR Surgical because of the opportunity to help healthcare providers grow robotic assisted surgery adoption in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
