Straiker Launches AI Security Platform with $21 Million Funding

Straiker has launched from stealth mode with $21 million in initial funding from Lightspeed Ventures and Bain Capital Ventures, announced in a press release. The company introduces the first AI-native solution aimed at securing a wide range of enterprise AI applications, from native apps to autonomous agents.

Straiker's platform includes two AI-native modules: Ascend AI and Defend AI. Ascend AI performs in-depth attack simulations using a curated set of AI-specific threats, while Defend AI extends protection beyond prompt-level threats to shield AI applications and agents from various security risks. Both modules are powered by the Straiker AI Engine, which uses finely tuned models to ensure precise and low-latency protection.

The company aims to address the growing security and safety risks associated with AI applications, providing real-time protection against attacks targeting each layer of AI apps and agents. Straiker's solutions are designed to help organizations confidently deploy AI by mitigating critical security threats.
