Steno Opens Litigation Genius Beta for Case File Analysis
Steno opened the beta of Litigation Genius, an AI workspace for analyzing litigation files, the company announced in a press release. The tool is available to Steno clients through the Firm Dashboard using their existing credentials.
Litigation Genius builds on Transcript Genius and automatically creates cases from completed Steno court reporting jobs. Users can add pleadings, medical records, financial documents, discovery responses, images, handwritten notes and transcripts from other providers. Files can also be imported from Google Drive and Dropbox.
Users can ask questions in plain English and receive answers with citations to specific files and pages. The workspace also creates case summaries and timelines, suggests questions, saves conversations for sharing and uses role based access controls. Steno says the product is SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliant, and its model provider agreements prohibit retention of client data or its use for model training.
