Star Refrigeration to Showcase AI-Driven Cooling Insights at Cold Chain Live 2025

Star Refrigeration will serve as a Platinum Sponsor at Cold Chain Live 2025, presenting on sustainable refrigeration technologies and AI-based optimisation for cold storage facilities.

Star Refrigeration will take a leading role at Cold Chain Live 2025 as a Platinum Sponsor, announced in a press release. The event, organised by the Cold Chain Federation, will be held on 15–16 October 2025 at the Telford International Centre and will gather professionals from the UK temperature-controlled logistics sector.

The company will deliver two presentations focusing on sustainable refrigeration and artificial intelligence in cold storage optimisation. On 15 October, Dr Rob Lamb, Group Sales and Marketing Director, will present a session titled 'Beyond the Hype: Safe, Sustainable Cooling Systems that Stand the Test of Time,' which will address the transition from f-gases to natural refrigerants such as ammonia and carbon dioxide. The presentation will include insights on energy efficiency, operational resilience, and the use of real-time performance data.

On 16 October, Anne Flanagan, Data Analytics Manager, will present 'Ethos in Action – Saving 9 GWh and 2,000 tonnes CO₂e at Asda and Tesco's Cold Stores,' showcasing how the company’s AI-led optimisation system reduced energy costs and emissions at major retail cold storage sites. Visitors can meet Star Refrigeration experts at Stand 202 to discuss energy efficiency, safety, compliance, and digital tools for cold storage operations.
