Restaurant voice technology provider Slang AI appointed BentoBox cofounder and former CEO Krystle Mobayeni to its board of directors.

Slang AI appointed BentoBox cofounder and former CEO Krystle Mobayeni to its board of directors, the company said in a press release.

Mobayeni cofounded BentoBox in 2013 and led the restaurant technology company until its acquisition by Fiserv in 2021. BentoBox served more than 15,000 restaurants globally. She later worked as senior vice president and head of restaurants at Fiserv.

Slang AI provides a voice AI platform that handles restaurant phone calls, including reservations, inquiries and call routing. The company said it serves thousands of restaurant locations and integrates with OpenTable, SevenRooms, Tripleseat and Yelp.
