SK hynix Reports Record Q2 2025 Financial Results
SK hynix has reported record financial results for the second quarter of 2025, with revenues reaching 22.232 trillion won and an operating profit of 9.2129 trillion won, announced in a press release. The company's net profit stood at 6.9962 trillion won, marking all-time highs for both revenues and operating profits.
The impressive financial performance was attributed to increased demand for AI memory, as global tech companies ramped up investments in AI technologies. SK hynix saw higher-than-expected shipments of both DRAM and NAND flash, contributing to the record results. The company expanded sales of its 12-high HBM3E in the DRAM sector and reported growth in NAND sales across various applications.
Looking ahead, SK hynix plans to continue its leadership in the AI memory market by launching new products such as LPDDR-based modules for servers and GDDR7 products for AI GPUs. The company also aims to maintain a prudent investment approach in its NAND business while preparing for future market improvements.
