At ATxEnterprise 2026, Singapore announced new initiatives under the Digital Enterprise Blueprint to help small and medium enterprises adopt AI securely, including partnerships with Grab and RSM Stone Forest IT, and the launch of the SME AI Impact Awards.

Singapore has announced new initiatives to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and strengthen cyber resilience at ATxEnterprise 2026, part of Asia Tech x Singapore. The news was announced in a press release by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), highlighting new partnerships, awards, and resources to support AI transformation across the country.

Under the Digital Enterprise Blueprint, IMDA will partner with Grab and RSM Stone Forest IT to provide practical support for small and medium enterprises. The Grab AI Programme for SMEs aims to reach 10,000 businesses in food and beverage, retail, and e-commerce through training, webinars, and a two-day AI course developed with the Singapore University of Technology and Design. RSM will launch the Cyber2SME Programme, offering complimentary phishing simulations and cybersecurity awareness workshops for up to 2,000 SMEs.

To recognize AI adoption success stories, IMDA and the Singapore Business Federation will launch the inaugural SME AI Impact Awards in 2026. The awards will honor up to 30 enterprises that either develop proprietary AI tools or successfully deploy existing AI solutions. Nominations open on June 1 and winners will be revealed at the SMEs Go Digital Day on October 13.

IMDA also introduced the AI for Enterprise Impact Playbook, created with SkillsFuture Singapore and Workforce Singapore, to help companies assess readiness and plan AI adoption. In addition, IMDA signed a Memorandum of Intent with Singtel, Ericsson, and NCS Singapore to pilot quantum-safe technologies for the telecommunications sector, reinforcing Singapore’s digital infrastructure against emerging threats.
