Shopware Launches Agentic Commerce Readiness Index
Shopware said in a press release that it launched the Agentic Commerce Maturity Index, a tool for measuring merchant readiness for commerce involving AI agents. The assessment is currently available through an early access program, with a public version planned later.
The free assessment contains 24 questions and takes about 25 minutes. It evaluates four areas: whether AI agents can find and recommend products, complete purchases with correct attribution, rely on inventory and logistics systems, and operate with suitable data and governance.
Participants receive an immediate maturity score, a comparison with other merchants and recommendations for addressing gaps. The recommendations can cover product information, integrations, pricing logic, attribution and governance.
