Sensor Tower Receives Strategic Investment from Shinhan Securities to Advance Gen AI Data Capabilities
Sensor Tower has secured a strategic investment from Shinhan Securities, announced in a press release. The funding will be used to accelerate product innovation, particularly in Generative AI and web data analytics.
The San Francisco-based digital intelligence provider has experienced consistent growth, reporting a 60% compound annual revenue increase over the past five years. Shinhan Securities, part of South Korea’s Shinhan Financial Group, joins existing investors Riverwood Capital, Paramark Ventures, and Bain Capital Credit.
Sensor Tower’s recent expansions include the acquisitions of Video Game Insights and Playliner, enhancing its data coverage for PC and console gaming performance. It also launched Web Insights, a platform offering analytics on desktop and mobile web traffic derived from first-party panel data.
Proceeds from the investment will support the integration of advanced AI technologies into Sensor Tower’s platform, broadening its data visibility across the digital economy and strengthening its position in digital intelligence and analytics.
