Semaphore Solutions Introduces AI Workflow Co-Pilot at BioIT
Semaphore Solutions has unveiled its latest innovation, an AI-powered workflow configuration co-pilot for Labbit, at BioIT 2025. Announced in a press release, this tool is designed to enable laboratories to build and adapt workflows more efficiently, eliminating barriers to self-configuration and accelerating digital transformation.
The AI-powered co-pilot is the first of its kind in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) sector, offering a visual workflow builder that operates at the configuration layer. This allows users to interact with the system through natural language input or by uploading various documents, which the AI assistant then transforms into fully configured workflows. This includes user interface, business logic, and calculations, significantly reducing implementation timelines.
The co-pilot's integration with Labbit's Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) workflow engine allows for fast, iterative changes without the need for specialized expertise or costly vendor support. This advancement positions Labbit as a leader in AI-driven laboratory informatics, providing labs with the tools to adapt and innovate more freely.
