SDG Corporation Acquires Synergetika to Enhance Cybersecurity Offerings
SDG Corporation has announced its acquisition of Synergetika, a company specializing in Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, announced in a press release. This strategic move aims to bolster SDG's capabilities in identity, threat, and risk management by integrating Synergetika's expertise in PAM strategy and implementation.
Privileged access abuse is a significant cause of cyberattacks, particularly insider threats and lateral movements within compromised systems. With this acquisition, SDG aims to enhance its ability to help organizations secure critical systems, especially in high-stakes industries like finance, healthcare, and energy.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Toronto, Synergetika has built a reputation for guiding clients through the complexities of PAM program design and implementation. The acquisition aligns with SDG's mission to deliver top-tier identity security and access management expertise to its clients, as stated by Ajay Gupta, CEO of SDG. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
