Scripta Insights has announced a strategic partnership with RxSaveCard to assist self-insured employers in reducing prescription drug costs and strengthening fiduciary compliance. In a press release, Scripta Insights detailed that the collaboration will integrate RxSaveCard's cash pay options into its AI-powered Rx Navigation platform. This integration aims to provide members with access to the most affordable medication options, whether covered by their health plan or available through cash pay alternatives.

The partnership allows Scripta to incorporate RxSaveCard's nationwide discount network into its Scripta Savings Mapper, enabling members to compare medication options and save money. The RxSaveCard offers plan sponsors the ability to provide low- or no-cost medications without changing pharmacy benefit managers, using a prepaid digital card accepted at over 65,000 pharmacies.

Eric Levin, CEO of Scripta Insights, emphasized the shared commitment with RxSaveCard to innovate the traditional pharmacy benefits model and empower patients in their prescription choices. Chris Crawford, co-founder and CEO of RxSaveCard, highlighted that cash payments can often be cheaper than using insurance, and the partnership will guide members to these savings opportunities.
