Scality Introduces Autonomous Data Infrastructure for Enterprise AI and Cyber Resilience
Scality has launched Scality ADI (Autonomous Data Infrastructure), a new data platform designed for enterprise AI workloads, cyber resilience, and sovereign data control, announced in a press release. The platform builds on Scality's existing RING and ARTESCA solutions and introduces AI-assisted autonomous operations, cross-media flexibility, and large-scale performance for multi-petabyte and exabyte environments.
Scality ADI combines distributed object storage with Scality Guardian, an AI-powered operations engine that automates expansion, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle workflows while keeping human oversight for all actions. The platform integrates NVMe SSD, HDD, tape, and cloud storage under a unified namespace, using policy-based lifecycle management to match performance and cost to each workload.
The system incorporates CORE5 cyber resilience to ensure data immutability and recovery, along with real-time power telemetry for monitoring energy use across nodes and workloads. Scality ADI is delivered as open-code software with source code available for inspection and governed contributions to support transparency in regulated environments.
According to the release, Scality ADI is available immediately through the company’s global channel and strategic partners. The platform is aimed at large enterprises, government agencies, and sovereign organizations that require scalable, auditable, and efficient data infrastructure. Groupama G2S and Omdia both highlighted the system’s potential to simplify AI infrastructure management and improve governance for mission-critical workloads.
