SASE Market Sees 22% Growth in 2Q 2025
The Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) market surged 22% year-over-year in the second quarter of 2025, reaching $2.7 billion, announced in a press release by Dell'Oro Group. This marks the third consecutive quarter of accelerating growth, driven by enterprises adopting AI-ready branch architectures that integrate SD-WAN and Security Service Edge (SSE).
SD-WAN revenue increased by 27%, with significant contributions from Cisco Systems, Inc. and Palo Alto Networks. Cisco, the top-ranked vendor by revenue share, saw a 52% year-over-year growth as customers transitioned to Catalyst 8k and Meraki SD-WAN solutions. Palo Alto Networks achieved the second-highest revenue spot with a 73% year-over-year increase, driven by successful SD-WAN software monetization.
SSE revenue also rose by 19%, marking the third straight quarter of growth. Leading contributors included Palo Alto Networks, with a 35% increase, and Netskope, which grew by 29%. Meanwhile, the Access Router market declined by 15% due to the shift towards SD-WAN, although overall branch networking revenue, which includes Access Router and SD-WAN, grew by 13%.
