Sapphire LLC is set to launch ReturnMail.ai, a new AI-driven platform designed to automate the processing of return mail for high-volume organizations, announced in a press release. Scheduled for launch in August 2025, the platform is already being demonstrated to interested organizations, including regional banks and universities, and will be piloted by state government agencies.

ReturnMail.ai aims to address the inefficiencies associated with the over 6 billion pieces of undeliverable mail returned annually in the U.S. By automating the process of securing corrected addresses, the platform reduces processing time by over 80% and cuts costs by more than 50%. This ensures compliance with regulatory communication requirements, which is crucial for government agencies and financial institutions.

The platform is tailored for sectors with high mail volumes, such as government agencies, financial services, healthcare, and large non-profits. By automating repetitive tasks, ReturnMail.ai allows staff to focus on higher-impact activities that require human insight.
