SAP Partners with France’s AI Ecosystem to Advance Europe’s Sovereign Cloud

SAP announced new collaborations with France’s AI sector, including Bleu, Capgemini, and Mistral AI, to strengthen Europe’s digital sovereignty in a press release. The announcement was made at the Summit on European Digital Sovereignty in Berlin, emphasizing cooperation between France and Germany in advancing secure and scalable AI-driven cloud infrastructure.

SAP’s partnership with Bleu and Delos Cloud focuses on Franco-German collaboration to safeguard Europe’s digital infrastructure. The companies signed a mutual assistance agreement to enhance crisis response and cross-border cybersecurity capabilities, aiming to ensure resilience in scenarios such as cyberattacks or other emergencies.

The collaboration with Capgemini will deepen their strategic partnership through a new Sovereign Technology Partnership. This initiative will support European organizations with cybersecurity, data management, cloud infrastructure, and agentic AI solutions for public and regulated sectors.

SAP and Mistral AI are expanding their alliance to deliver the first full sovereign AI stack for Europe. Mistral AI’s frontier models, including Le Chat, will be integrated into SAP’s Business Technology Platform via the AI Foundation. The partnership will enable secure, compliant AI development and deployment across European data centers, starting with public services in Germany.

These initiatives form part of SAP’s broader Sovereign Cloud strategy, which includes a €20 billion investment in European AI and cloud services to ensure data control, compliance, and innovation under European governance.
