SAP Unveils AI-Powered Business Suite with Role-Based Assistants
SAP has introduced a new AI-powered business suite featuring role-based assistants in Joule, designed to enhance enterprise performance by integrating AI, data, and applications. This announcement was made at the inaugural SAP Connect event in Las Vegas, announced in a press release.
The new suite includes a network of role-aware assistants that partner with humans to improve productivity and decision-making. These assistants are supported by specialized Joule Agents, which help execute complex workflows within specific business functions. For example, the People Manager Assistant coordinates a team of agents to address issues like compensation anomalies, while the Financial Planning Assistant optimizes cash flow and improves interest yields.
SAP also introduced SAP Business Data Cloud Connect, which securely links SAP Business Data Cloud with partner platforms like Databricks and Google Cloud. This enables a bidirectional flow of business-ready data products, reducing data silos and simplifying data pipelines. The integration with Google BigQuery allows enterprises to access SAP's semantically rich data without the need for data replication, facilitating real-time analytics and AI applications.
These innovations mark a significant step in SAP's strategy to integrate AI, data, and applications, providing businesses with tools to drive intelligence, speed, and resilience across their operations.
