SANY Ships Autonomous Electric Mining Trucks to South America

SANY Group shipped its first SKT110Ei autonomous electric mining trucks to South America, pairing the vehicles with intelligent dispatch and life cycle operation and maintenance services.

SANY Group said in a press release that it shipped its first batch of SKT110Ei autonomous electric mining trucks to South America on August 12.

The shipment is part of the company's first autonomous mining truck project in the region. The project includes a fleet of autonomous trucks, an intelligent dispatch system, and operation and maintenance services across the life cycle of the equipment.

SANY described the rollout as its first deployment of an autonomous mining solution in Latin America. The SKT110Ei trucks are 100 percent electric and are designed for mining operations.
