Samsung Invests $1 Billion in KKR's Helix Data Center Platform
Samsung committed $1 billion to Helix Digital Infrastructure, according to Data Center Dynamics. The investment comes through Samsung's long duration capital fund and will support the data center platform's buildout.
KKR established Helix earlier in 2026, with former AWS CEO Adam Selipsky leading the company. Helix plans to develop hyperscale data centers with integrated power supply agreements but has not disclosed specific projects.
The Samsung commitment brings Helix's secured capital to more than $10 billion. Other investors include KKR, the Kuwait Investment Authority, Nvidia and Vistra. Helix also plans to explore the use of Samsung's technology, construction, energy storage and cooling capabilities.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
