RoboSense Wins Exclusive LiDAR Deal for Baidu’s Next-Gen Apollo Go Robotaxi
RoboSense has secured an exclusive design win to provide its digital LiDAR suite for the next-generation Robotaxi fleet from Baidu’s Apollo Go, announced in a press release.
The factory-installed LiDAR system includes RoboSense’s EM4, described as the world’s only mass-produced thousand-beam-level digital LiDAR, and the E1, a fully solid-state digital LiDAR. Together, they deliver 360-degree, zero-blind-spot coverage required for Level 4 autonomous driving.
This agreement follows RoboSense’s recent deployment of the same LiDAR suite with the WeRide GXR Robotaxi. The EM4 and E1 combination has been positioned as a key component in enabling high-reliability autonomous mobility for large-scale robotaxi operations.
