RLWRLD Raises $26M to Expand Industrial Robotics AI
South Korea–based RLWRLD has raised $26 million in a Seed 2 funding round, bringing its total seed investment to $41 million, announced in a press release. The company develops robotics foundation models trained directly in real industrial environments and plans to unveil its first model in the first half of 2026.
The round included financial investors such as Headline Asia and Z Venture Capital, alongside strategic investors including CJ Logistics, Kakao Investment, Lotte Ventures, Hanwha Asset Management, Mirae Asset–Emart Investment Fund I, Hyosung Ventures, Smilegate Investment, and T Investment. Hashed Ventures, which led RLWRLD’s previous Seed 1 round, also participated.
According to the company, the funding will support collaborative robotics projects with major industrial partners in South Korea and Japan. These include proof-of-concept and deployment initiatives with logistics and manufacturing companies. RLWRLD’s approach differs from traditional robotics R&D by training AI models directly within active industrial operations, leveraging real-world data from its partner network.
Headline Asia plans to assist RLWRLD’s expansion into North America and other global markets, while Z Venture Capital will facilitate proof-of-concept and commercialization discussions in Japan. RLWRLD said its upcoming foundation model is designed to learn from real-world industrial settings and continuously improve as it is deployed across new environments.
