RIIICO Secures $5M to Enhance AI Solutions for Factory Efficiency
RIIICO has raised $5 million in seed funding to further develop its AI-based software platform, which assists industrial companies in digitally modeling and adapting their existing factories. The funding round was led by Pi Labs, with participation from seed + speed Ventures, WaVe-X, Earlybird Venture Capital, and Volvo Cars Tech Fund.
RIIICO's platform enables the creation of precise 3D digital twins of factories by automatically detecting machines, equipment, and building structures through LiDAR scans. This technology allows teams to simulate and assess different scenarios efficiently, significantly speeding up the redesign process and the launch of new products.
The AI solution has already been successfully implemented in the automotive industry, facilitating the installation of electric vehicle production lines in factories previously used for combustion engines. This application has set a new benchmark for quality and efficiency by reducing costly on-site revisions.
With the new funding, RIIICO plans to expand its AI platform with additional applications for digital twins, aiming to enhance the resilience and competitiveness of its industrial clients.
