Reveal Technology Launches Farsight 2.0 for Army Terrain Analysis
Reveal Technology launches Farsight 2.0, an update to its 3D mapping and terrain intelligence platform, the company said in a press release. The software combines authorized imagery from drones, satellites, and other sensors in a shared terrain model that updates as new data arrives.
Authorized Army users can contribute imagery to the model and use it across units. Operators can also task drones by specifying collection requirements, update and analyze the model without a network connection, and use existing tools for line of sight analysis, route planning with AI, measurements, and landing zone assessments.
Reveal will distribute the update to existing users, while new units will receive it during installation. The launch coincides with a $9.5 million U.S. Army purchase order covering Farsight procurement, distribution, training, and support for additional infantry brigades.
