Remote People has introduced Command Center, an AI assistant that performs HR and payroll tasks across more than 180 countries, announced in a press release. The tool is designed to move AI in global employment from offering advice to executing actions, allowing teams to complete processes such as salary changes, contract amendments, and terminations through natural language input.

At launch, Command Center supports nine types of HR operations. These include adjusting salaries with local labor law compliance, initiating terminations with jurisdiction-specific procedures, processing expenses, managing leave requests, amending contracts, onboarding employees or contractors, generating HR documents, updating job titles across systems, and obtaining expert employment advice. All actions are logged automatically with timestamps and user details for audit purposes.

The system accepts instructions in any language and applies relevant country-specific compliance rules within each workflow. High-impact actions such as terminations and contract changes are routed to in-country experts for review before finalization. Users can cancel actions at any point without altering records.

Remote People offers Employer of Record services, global payroll, benefits administration, HR management, and company incorporation support. Command Center integrates these services into a single conversational interface aimed at simplifying daily HR operations for distributed teams.
