RADIN Health and AZmed Expand AI Radiology Integration with FDA Clearance for AZtrauma
RADIN Health and AZmed have expanded their collaboration following AZmed’s third FDA clearance for the Rayvolve AI Suite’s AZtrauma module, announced in a press release. The new clearance extends AZtrauma’s capabilities on X-rays to detect not only fractures but also joint effusions and dislocations in both adult and pediatric patients aged two and older.
AZtrauma is now the only FDA-cleared AI solution in the United States that covers all three pathologies on X-rays. The clearance follows a study involving more than 258,000 X-rays from 100 clinical centers across 26 countries, marking the largest validation effort of its kind.
The AZtrauma and AZchest modules are fully integrated into RADIN’s cloud platform. Structured Reporting images and data from AZmed feed directly into RADIN’s PACS, allowing automated triage and preparation before radiologist review. RADIN’s platform processes millions of imaging studies annually and includes AI-assisted dictation tools that can speed report generation by up to 70 percent.
The integrated tools are already used by imaging providers such as Total Medical Imaging to streamline case triage and reading workflows.
