Quantum Computing Inc. Makes NeuraWave Available for Deployment
Quantum Computing Inc. announced in a press release that its NeuraWave photonic reservoir computing platform is now ready for deployment. NeuraWave, first introduced at SC25, is designed to provide faster and more energy-efficient artificial intelligence inference and signal processing at the edge.
The platform combines photonic and digital computing to deliver low latency AI inference with reduced power consumption. It supports applications such as time series prediction, anomaly detection, and edge intelligence in environments where resources are limited and response times are critical.
NeuraWave is built as a PCIe plug-in card and processes data using light rather than electrons. This design enables high performance inference at low power, offering an alternative to traditional GPU-based systems. The technology targets sectors including defense, telecommunications, autonomous vehicles, robotics, healthcare, and industrial monitoring.
Units are currently being manufactured and are available for customer orders. The release marks a milestone in Quantum Computing Inc.'s 2025 technology roadmap, moving its photonic computing systems from research into practical deployment.
