Quantinuum and UWA Partner on Quantum Computing Access
Quantinuum and The University of Western Australia signed a memorandum of understanding to expand quantum computing access, training and application research, the organizations announced in a press release. Researchers, students and entrepreneurs affiliated with UWA will receive cloud access to Quantinuum's full stack platform, including its Helios quantum computer.
The collaboration will examine applications that combine quantum computing, artificial intelligence and high performance computing. Initial areas include critical minerals, energy, agriculture and healthcare.
The organizations will also explore creating a quantum computing applications center across the university. Quantinuum experts will work with UWA researchers and industry participants to evaluate potential uses, establish technical benchmarks and assess combined computing workflows.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
