PwC Survey Links Daily Generative AI Use to Higher Productivity and Pay

November 13, 2025
PwC's Global Workforce Hopes & Fears Survey 2025 finds that workers using generative AI daily report greater productivity, job security, and wages compared to occasional users, based on responses from nearly 50,000 employees across 48 economies.

PwC found that workers who use generative AI daily report higher productivity, better job security, and increased wages compared to occasional users, announced in a press release. The findings come from PwC’s Global Workforce Hopes & Fears Survey 2025, which gathered responses from nearly 50,000 employees across 48 major economies and 28 industries.

According to the survey, 92% of daily generative AI users said they experienced productivity gains, compared to 58% of occasional users. Similarly, 58% reported stronger job security and 52% higher pay, versus 36% and 32% respectively among those using AI less frequently.

The report also highlights a gap in access to learning opportunities. Only 51% of non-managers said they have sufficient access to training and development, compared to 66% of managers and 72% of senior leaders. PwC’s Global Workforce Leader Pete Brown stated that while daily AI users are benefiting, companies must redesign work and human-machine collaboration to ensure broader inclusion.
