Proteotype Unveils Alchemi Platform for Enlighten Cancer Test
Proteotype Diagnostics said in a press release that it has unveiled Alchemi®, a data and clinical workflow platform being developed for Enlighten®, its investigational blood test for multiple cancers.
Alchemi is designed to connect laboratory measurements, multi country clinical data, and healthcare workflows. The platform will standardise measurements, govern analytical and machine learning workflows, and generate traceable outputs for clinicians. It is also intended to support interoperability with laboratory and health record systems through HL7 FHIR and SNOMED CT.
The 15 month program begins on September 1, 2026, and is supported by about €499,000 from the European Innovation Council Pre-Accelerator. The funding will support machine learning optimization, data harmonisation across countries, clinician interface work, interoperability, cloud security, and documentation for medical software lifecycle and quality systems.
Proteotype said its MODERNISED and INNOVATOR studies are expanding the clinical evidence for Enlighten. Development will be led from the company’s Torres Vedras site, where it is recruiting for software engineering, data engineering, cybersecurity, and healthcare integration roles.
