Proceed has acquired Rapid Legal and its LegalConnect platform to strengthen its national footprint and enhance its e-filing and service of process technology.

Proceed has acquired Rapid Legal and its proprietary technology platform LegalConnect, announced in a press release. The California-based company provides e-filing and service of process solutions across the state’s legal markets.

Founded in 1994, Rapid Legal’s LegalConnect platform streamlines filing and service workflows for law firms and legal professionals. Proceed stated that the technology will serve as the foundation for its next-generation unified platform, designed to deliver faster and more integrated e-filing and service of process support nationwide.

The acquisition expands Proceed’s presence on the U.S. West Coast and strengthens its technology infrastructure, positioning the company as a comprehensive provider of technology-enabled legal support services across the country.
