Pointcare Launches Coverage Advocacy Platform for 192 Million Americans
Pointcare announced in a press release the general availability of its upgraded coverage advocacy platform designed to support Americans on publicly subsidized healthcare programs. The company stated that the platform now delivers real time coverage visibility, household enrollment, and proactive renewal management for the 2 million patients it serves across more than 90 community health centers.
The upgraded experience allows patients to check their coverage status instantly, receive alerts for renewals or lapses, and manage coverage for entire households across Medicaid, Medicare, and Marketplace plans in a single process. The system also connects patients with licensed brokers when Medicaid is not an option, offering plan alternatives as low as ten to twenty dollars per month.
Pointcare said the platform is compliant with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards and uses patient data solely for enrollment purposes. Community health centers using the system can automate outreach, upload documents through mobile devices, and reduce administrative workload.
AltaMed, one of the largest federally qualified health centers in the United States, reported a 104 percent improvement in retention rates after implementing Pointcare’s automated tools. The platform is available now for community health centers, and existing Pointcare customers can integrate the new patient experience without additional setup.
