PodUp has raised $5.8 million to enhance its AI-driven podcasting platform, aiming to simplify production and monetization for creators.

PodUp has raised $5.8 million to advance its AI-powered podcasting platform, announced in a press release. The funding, gathered over two rounds, will accelerate the development of PodUp's comprehensive suite of over 50 tools designed to aid creators in producing, growing, and monetizing their podcasts.

The company, which achieved cash flow positive status in May 2025, is led by founder Nathan Gwilliam. PodUp's platform includes 17 AI-powered tools, inspired by Gwilliam's own experiences in podcasting. The funding attracted notable investors, including North Texas Angels, who recognized the platform's potential to transform the podcasting industry.

PodUp's platform effectiveness is demonstrated by client successes, such as Dr. Tamara Nall's "Lead with AI" podcast reaching #1 on Apple Podcasts in the Technology category. Additionally, PodUp operates PodAllies, a service that handles podcast production, marketing, and monetization for creators who lack the time to manage these aspects themselves.
