PlusAI is partnering with Goodyear to integrate tire intelligence into its autonomous trucking technology, enhancing safety and efficiency.

PlusAI has announced a collaboration with Goodyear to enhance the safety and efficiency of autonomous trucks, announced in a press release. The partnership will explore the integration of Goodyear's SightLine technology, which provides real-time insights into tire health and road conditions, with PlusAI's SuperDrive virtual driver system.

Goodyear's SightLine technology uses sensors to monitor tire-road interactions, offering data that can optimize vehicle performance and reduce operating costs. This collaboration aims to improve the reliability of autonomous trucks across various driving environments.

PlusAI, known for its AI-based virtual driver software, has been deploying autonomous driving technology across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The company plans to launch SuperDrive-enabled autonomous trucks commercially by 2027, starting in the United States and expanding into Europe.
