Plataine Adds Integrated Maintenance Optimization to AI Production Scheduler
Plataine has introduced an enhancement to its Production Scheduler that integrates preventive equipment maintenance into production planning, announced in a press release. The unified system allows manufacturers to monitor equipment and tool usage in real time, automatically trigger maintenance actions based on actual usage, and adjust production schedules accordingly.
The new capability embeds maintenance directly into the scheduling process, replacing fixed maintenance intervals with dynamic adjustments based on operating hours, workload, and resource conditions. Maintenance tasks are automatically included in the production plan to minimize disruption and maintain operational efficiency.
At the core of the system is Plataine's Practimum Optimum optimization engine, which continuously balances production priorities, equipment condition, and resource availability. The solution is designed for industries such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, and industrial manufacturing, supporting adaptive planning and improved equipment performance within a single AI driven platform.
